Hi, Come on in grab a cup of coffee or tea ( my favorite) and grab a seat. My name is Nysredhead as my chat buddies know me. I live in the Catskill Mountain Region of New York State. I love living in the country and couldn't imagine life without trees around me. I love the 4 seasons and the beauty of each of them. My interests include cooking, Although I usually Cook more simple foods and recipes ,I really love to try new recipes often. Knitting, I taught myself to knit . I saw a pattern for a sweater I wanted for my son when he was young. The only way he would ever have that sweater was for me to make it. And so I did. I must say I am quite proud of my accomplishment . Not to mention the warmth my hobby brings. | |||||||||||||||||||||||

Nature, I live in a very wooded area and we have lots of deer, squirrels, raccoons and other assorted creatures always close by. We feed the birds and squirrels off our back porch. We are fortunate enough to have a pair of mourning doves that come to our porch to eat and perch on a branch close by. They are such a beautiful bird but do indeed have a sad ,mourning sound in their call. And the computer. Ah the computer , the beast as I prefer to call it. It was a major undertaking for me to learn it. But I did ,truthfully I think knitting was easier to learn. I guess one really can do what ever they want if they want it bad enough.
